Your own village in the country
This village in the country side has become a favourite for groups of families and friends as we can accommodate up to 20 persons and you can spread out over 4 cottages and endless space outside to explore and play .

Rates for up to 16 guests -
$1000 per night, minimum stay of 3 nights
$35 per night for extra person

Each cottage has a wood stove, supplied with dry firewood, to make you feel warm and cosy on the cold nights.
All water is UV sterilised rain water.
All buildings have complete linen, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. They have a microwave in addition to gas hob and oven.
There is no TV reception. Bassett's cottage has a television and dvd player with a selection of DVDs for all ages.
VERY IMPORTANT: There is a total fire ban at our property between the 1st of November and 1st of May. No fires to be lit in the outside firepit between these dates. During the other months, you can use the firepit but you cannot use the wood that has been chopped for the indoor stoves. You can go around the side of the road and collect wood or bring your own. Sometimes we will put branches near the firepit, which you can then also use. If it is cold, you can light the stove inside and use the chopped firewood we have provided. Please be aware that it is a huge job to chop all the firewood, so use it with respect: keep doors closed to keep the heat in, use only the amount needed, etc.
You will have phone reception if you sit by a window or outside and if you are on a telstra based network or on vodaphone. Optus does not appear to provide you with reception .
We follow permaculture and organic principles and our desire is to make a small footprint on this earth and safeguard this little paradise. It is therefore important that you leave behind only that which will convert back into beautiful soil, with the help of worms and composting. Be mindful when shopping and select packaging that can be recycled. We need to preserve this land, so your children and grandchildren will still be able to enjoy it in the future. Therefore, we do not want this land to become a rubbish dump, so please take back what doesn’t belong here.

The double kiln provides accommodation for large groups, up to a maximum of 10 persons.
There is a large kitchen and the dining room table can sit 14 people, ideal if you are occupying multiple cottages.
There is also a laundry and ironing facility.
There are 3 large bedrooms.
The bedroom on the ground floor has a queen bed, ensuite bathroom and its own wood fire.
The other 2 bedrooms are upstairs. One has 2 king single beds and a bunk bed with a double bed below and a single on top. The other has a queen bed and a single bed.

Completely Self-contained cottage.
The Single Kiln kitchen/dining and bathroom areas are at ground level.
A stairwell takes you to a comfortable sleeping area above with a queen sized bed and a single bed.

Completely self-contained single level cottage,
featuring wheel chair access and disabled bathroom.
There is a kitchen/dining room and a separate lounge with fireplace. The lounge also has a single bed.
The bedroom has a queen bed.

Completely self-contained single level cottage. Bassetts is named for original 1924 Group Settlers, whose house was on this spot.
Bassetts is best suited for dogs and has an enclosed fenced yard.
No TV reception but there is a TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer.
Three sleeping areas: 1 bedroom with a queen bed, another with 2 long single beds and a sunroom with a 2 single beds.
There is a separate dining room.

If your booking is not during the school holidays or on public holiday weekends:
If you have to cancel, all payment will be refunded with one weeks' notice. Less notice will result in a 50% refund. No refund if notice is given 2 days or less before arrival date.
If your booking is during the school holidays or on public holiday weekends:
If you have to cancel, all payment will be refunded with one months' notice. Less notice will result in a 50% refund. No refund given if notice given is one week or less before arrival date.
Please be aware that we do not have credit card facilities. If you arrive without prior booking and have not been able to pay by EFT, it will be necessary to pay cash.
